Parents/GuardiansHereby pledge to:
Provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child’s participation in Sapphire YDC programs by following this code of ethics.
1. I will not engage in improper conduct with any staff, parent, participant, official, or any other attendees of Sapphire YDC.
2. I will not engage in any behavior which would endanger the health, safety, or well-being of the staff, participant, or attendees of Sapphire YDC.
3. I will not engage in the use of profanity
4. I will treat any staff member, teacher, coach, player, participant, official, or any other attendee with respect regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, or ability.
5. I will support the staff, students, teams, board, and participants of Sapphire YDC
6. I will ensure my child’s timely arrival to all practices, games, and performances
7. I will partner with staff members to enforce academic and behavioral standards for my child
8. I will make every effort to communicate with the staff of Sapphire YDC when there are attendance issues or scheduling conflicts
9. I will demand a drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free environment for my child and agree to assist by refraining from their use within the Sapphire YDC facilities.
10. I will see that all requested fees are paid in a timely manner
11. I will complete chaperone obligations and any other duties required as part of my child’s participation in Sapphire YDC programs
By agreeing to this document, I acknowledge that I have read the above Code of Conduct and agree to abide by it. I understand that the above list is not inclusive of all that may be expected of me as a parent.
